In order to protect your rights and interests, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ("TSMC"), pursuant to Paragraph 1 of Article 8 of the Personal Information Protection Act, hereby informs you of the following items:
TSMC will collect, process and use your personal information for the purposes permitted by law, and for the purpose of enabling visitors to pay visit to the TSMC Museum, which will include without limitation, allowing visitors to make reservation through a computerized system. TSMC will, pursuant to the classification specified in the Specific Purpose and the Classification of Personal Information of the Personal Information Protection Act ("Specific Purpose and the Classification of Personal Information of the PIPA"), collect your personal information for the purpose of "Museums, Art Galleries, Memorials, or Other Public and Private Institution Business (115)."
TSMC will collect your personal information only within the scope of what is necessary for the purpose stated in Item 1 above. Such personal information includes, without limitation, your name and email address, which can be used to identify you. TSMC will, pursuant to the classification specified in the Specific Purpose and the Classification of Personal Information of the PIPA, collect your personal information, including the "Type for Identifying Individuals (001).
TSMC will, within the scope of what is necessary for the purpose stated in Item 1 above, by email or other means, collect, process, and use your personal information within or outside Taiwan. For the purpose stated in Item 1 above, TSMC may transmit your personal information to its subsidiaries, affiliates, and business partners (including, but not limited to, vendors and clients), or to any other third party, such as a server provider engaged by TSMC to process or use your personal information (collectively, "Receiving Party"). TSMC will use or retain your personal information for no longer than twelve (12) calendar months from collection of your personal information, after which your information will be deleted.
You understand that you have the right to (1) inquire or request to read, (2) request a copy of, (3) request to amend or correct, (4) request the cessation of the collection, processing, or use of; and (5) request the deletion of your personal information provided to TSMC.
You may decide at your free will whether to provide your personal information to TSMC. However, you also understand that if your personal information is not provided, TSMC will not be able to provide you with the interactive activity.
I have fully read and understood the informed items described above by TSMC for personal information, as well as the Privacy & Cookies Policy on TSMC website, and hereby agree and authorize TSMC to collect, process and use my personal information.
With regard to the personal information I provide to TSMC, I agree to waive, any claims I may have for damages or restitutions against TSMC or the parties listed in Section 3 above, unless TSMC or the listed parties are found in violation of the Personal Information Protection Act.
